I am a 21-year-old university student from the United States. I enjoy many hobbies, including writing. I like cooking, arts and crafts, DIY, pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain.

I speak some conversational Japanese and spent 3 months studying in Tokyo, Japan. However, program was cut short due to the Tohoku Earthquake and its resulting disasters, so I returned home a month early. I plan on using my experiences in Japan to write interesting articles on Japanese life, as well as guides to living and staying in Japan.
